N’9 Candle is a boutique candle brand that blends refined scents with intentional design. The goal was to develop a minimalist yet luxurious brand identity that embodies calm, sophistication, and ambient living.

How do you create a brand identity that is both visually quiet and emotionally powerful? The challenge was to reflect luxury without being loud, and to speak to a discerning audience through simplicity, restraint, and timeless elegance.

① Brand Discovery

We began with a deep dive into the essence of N’9—its values, target audience, and competitive landscape. We conducted moodboarding sessions to define the desired emotional tone: elegance, minimalism, serenity.

② Visual Identity
  • The visual direction focused on simplicity with purpose.
  • Logo: A custom serif wordmark with subtly softened edges to evoke warmth and intimacy.
  • Palette: Monochrome neutrals with hints of off-white and charcoal—clean and calming.
  • Typography: High-contrast type with generous spacing, offering an editorial, premium feel.
  • Packaging: Understated matte finishes, blind embossing, and refined textures to elevate shelf presence.
③ Brand Language

We developed a tone of voice that was poetic yet clear—descriptive without excess. Taglines such as “A Glow Worth Remembering” and “Minimal by Design, Maximal in Mood” reinforced the brand’s personality.

The final brand system exudes elegance across every touchpoint—from labels to launch campaign visuals. It appeals to both high-end retail and lifestyle-conscious consumers seeking atmosphere through detail.
